Our friend (friends are the family you choose) Liane, who has been bunking with Zoey since September, took herself on a mini-vacation to NYC to visit a friend and roam the streets. She wandered and walked and never got lost and ate lots of great food and went to cool bookstores and coffee shops and heard some music and didn't go to a SINGLE museum!!! She brought us back some amazing coffee (in a cool jar)from Stumptown Coffee. She also, at my request, stopped by Books of Wonder the coolest kid's bookstore ever, and bought me a book. Incredibly, it is one I already have... Then, also at my request, she went to EATALY, map above, and had some amazing food. She even brought back a little cheese! She had a fabulous time but we really missed her and are glad she is home!
